On 2 Dec 11 Mr Kapil Dev along with RK R D Singh of Poonch member of Board of Governors played Golf fixture with present boys. The present boys team comprised Sangram Singh, Tanveer Singh and Siddhant Lohia.
Kapil Dev and RK R D Singh were winners 2 Up against the present boys. Kapil Dev’s score was par 33-1 Under par. He hit 4 birdie shots in 9 holes (2, 3, 4 & 9)!
Kapil had all the praises for the Golf course, specially the up keep of the course and the standard of Mayo Golfers. He provided valuable Golfing tips to the boys. These valuable suggestions related to grip, stance, swing path, feet movement, drill and bunker shot. He promised the cheering students at the Golf course that he would visit again and play another round of Golf with young Mayo Golfers!
