Celebration of Jal Jhoolni Ekadashi-06

Jal Jhoolani Ekadashi was celebrated on  4^th September, 2006. The procession started from Mayo College Temple and took a short round of the campus. The procession finally reached the Mayo Old Swimming Pool where temple prayers was chanted by the temple incharge and the students. Pujari requested to the Principal, Mr. Pramod Sharma to perform Lord Krishnas’ pooja on the occasion of Jal Jhoolani Ekadashi after which Lord Krishna was immersed in the waters of the pool. The procession then came back to the temple where prasad was distributed to everyone. Members of the staff and the students took part in the procession. All the students in traditional house safas and royal attire took part in the procession and attended the ceremony.
