BATCH 1971-72 REUNION
The Old Boys of 1971-72 batch visited Mayo College from August 12, 2006 to August 14, 2006. They were here with their families to celebrate their 35th year of passing out of Mayo College. They played Tennis with the present boys and they also played Cricket. They lost both the Cricket and Tennis matches. Next, they had a Safa Tying Competition. They attended the evening temple service with their safas on. They attended the assembly together with the boys of class X, XI & XII.
While in the Assembly Hall Mr.Samar Bhaduri (Vice Principal) told the 71 batch, the history of Mayo College and the Assembly Hall itself. The Old Boys also visited the swimming pool. They hosted three dinners which were attended by the Mayo College Staff and Ex-teachers. Mr.S.S.N.Ganju, Mr.O.P.Agrawal, Mr.N.K.Jha, Mr.J.P.Saxena, Mr.Suresh Mathur and Mr.A.Rosario were present during the celebrations.

Old Boys of 1971-72 v/s Present Boys
Present boys won the toss, elected to bat first and scored 141 runs in 25 overs. In reply, Old Boys scored 131 runs losing all the wickets with a valuable contribution from Mr.Sarvesh Naidu who scored 59 runs.
Present Boys won the match by 10 runs.
SAFA TYING
Mr.Pratap Singh won the prize for Safa Tying competition.
