The 21^st of July was a memorable day for Junior School boys as they were taken to visit the Savitri Temple at Pushkar. The trip was indeed a journey into the clouds as the temple, due to incessant rains was hidden by the clouds that had descended. All that was visible were a few steps and the boys mingling into the mist.

All the exhaustion that we thought we would experience got drenched in the cool droplets of rain that endowed us with renewed vigour to ascend the hill.

The boys surely  had a wonderful time and the hills echoed with sounds of ‘Go Mayo’ when they had finally made it!

God had been exceptionally kind as it ceased to rain on our way back. The pleasant breeze kept us cool and delighted as we began to move downhill. The monkeys did frighten our little ones but couldn’t dampen their spirit.

Piping hot dinner awaited us and as for the rains- they accompanied us in fits and starts till we got back ‘Into the gates of Mayo College’.
