The Football, Cricket and Hockey Teams from Junior School of Daly College, Indore visited Mayo College on 24th, 25th and 26th of February, 2006 for their Annual Friendly Fixture.
The meet began with the Hockey match at Sherring field which resulted in a draw with no goals scored but Mayo team commanded the match throughout. A good display of skill was shown by Harshit Shahi, Harsh Deo Singh, Syed Muakkahir Kamal and Shivam Chaudhary.
Next to be played was the Football Match at the St.John’s Ground in which Mayo defeated Daly College 4-0. Mayo boys had established their supremacy over Dalians and Tshegyal Tashi scored a hat-trick. Other good performers were Mahir Malla, Nitish Raj Pondyal and Syed Muakkahir Kamal.
The meet concluded with the Cricket match which was played at the Central field. Mayo Boys batting first made 135 runs in 25 overs with only 2 wickets out.
Bikramjeet Kampany scored 52 runs in style and remained unbeaten. In return, Dalians could only manage to score 46 runs . The match turned out to be one-sided and once again Mayoites had mastered the game in all streams. Other good performers were Abhijeet Malik, Harsh Deo Singh and Surajpreet Soni.
The meet ended on a joyous note as Mayo won two matches out of three .
