INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
The 60th Independence day was celebrated on 15th August, 2006 in front of the Main Building near Lord Mayo Statue. Mr.Rohit Tandon, former School Captain 1971-72 batch, Mayo College presided over the function and hoisted the National flag at 8.00 a.m.
The programme was then followed by Inter-troop Drill and Marching competition, English and Hindi speeches delivered by the students of Senior and Junior School and Hindi chorus by the boys of Mayo College.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks to the Chief Guest.
