Annual Scout Camp

The annual scout camp for the boys of Oman House was held at Scout Camping Centre, Pushkar Ghati, Pushkar from 25th March 2008 to 28th March, 2008. Our scouts visited the old age home Pushkar on 25th March, 2008. They distributed fruits, biscuits, clothes and gifted the inmates 12 mattresses. The scouts interacted with the aged people to understand the problems of old age.

Scouts went on a night hike to Buda Pushkar. They went for another trip up the hill to sand dunes on the bed of a dry river. The boys were engaged in several activities like Campcraft, Tree/Plant conservation, Environment/Nature study etc. Mr.Pramod Sharma, Principal, Mr.S.Bhaduri, Vice Principal, and Mr.Deepak Upreti, Divisional Commissioner, Ajmer Range visited the camp site. It was a good experience in spite of hot weather conditions added with dusty storms at night.
