Mosman Cricket Club from Sydney, Australia visited Mayo College on April 22 and April 23, 2008. This team was accompanied with their officials together with their cricket coach, the ex-English Test Player Barry Knight. In the T-Twenty match, Mayo College won by 25 runs. In the 45 over match, the visitors were beaten convincingly by our boys by 103 runs. The Australians scored 168 runs against Mayo's total of 271 runs. The Man of the Match prize was won by Sanjay Joshi. The Best Batsman was Rahil Atri and the Best Bowler was Adam Stephen (Australia).

The award ceremony was presided over by Mr.Samar Bhaduri, Vice Principal, Mayo College, who gave away the trophies and the mementos.
