Basant utsav was celebrated in Junior School on January 31, 2009. Chief Guest Dr.Gopal Modani, Principal, Government Engineering College, Ajmer marked the beginning of the Programme by lighting the lamp. Principal and students of Hemkhel, Jaipur and MSMSV Jaipur were also present. Speeches in Hindi and English were delivered by Kashir Jain of Class 5 and Vaibhav Ramrakhani of Class 6. Class 6 students presented Saraswati Vandana -, "Var de Veena vadani var de, Naval Basant Naval Vrandavan" and also an instrumental presentation of the song, "Hai Hanswahani". In praise of lord Krishna "Madhurashtakam" was sung by the boys of Class 5. "Hai Sharde Maa" was also presented by the boys on various instruments.

"Jayati jai jai maa saraswati" was presented by Class IV students. A duet presentation of "Khayal" was given by Mohd.Hamza of Class 5 and Ayush Sethi of Class 6 in Raag Basant. A group dance on the song, " Yae masta mahina fagun kaa " was presented by the boys of Classes 5 and 6.

The programme was concluded by the speech of honourable Chief Guest. The programme was compered by Anish Khilani of Class 5.
