Basant Panchami
Basant Panchami was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Junior Section, Mayo College, Ajmer on January 20, 2010. The Chief Guest was Dr.S.L.Lodha, a retired professor in Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer. The children sang hymns in praise of goddess Saraswati. The Orchestra mesmerized one and all. The Principal Mr.Samar Bahaduri appreciated the hard work put in by the music teachers and the students. A speech in Hindi was delivered by Abhinav Ashok, Class VI.
Suyash Surana, Class VI and Yuvraj Aurora, Class IV delivered a speech in English. Mohd.Hamza, Rishabh Jain and Rajveer Singh were the main singers. Nilesh Vijay and Pranit Chawla, Class V jointly hosted the show. Everyone celebrated the advent of spring with great reverence, gaiety and joy.
