OMAN HOUSE TREK TO MADAR HILL

It was the first Saturday afternoon since we joined back school from summer vacations and we were craving for some adventure-filled outing which would give us some respite from the rigors of our daily schedule.

Our wish came true as we were taken to Savitri Hill on 17 Jul 10 escorted by our Housemaster and House Tutors. At the first instance, we were quite skeptical about the climb on this very warm afternoon. But the almighty favored us, as it started pouring when we left Mayo College.

Every boy managed to climb the summit safely and we had lot of time to rest and relax in the calm & cool breeze at the top. Our House Master explained to us the mythological importance of this temple.

We came back by the dusk to the foothill and headed back to Mayo where special dinner was waiting for us. We had a wonderful shower in our house and enjoyed our meal thoroughly.

It was indeed a memorable trip.

We thank our house staff to have provided us with such an exciting trip.
