We are happy to announce that Mr. KC Verma (1965-66) and Dr.RajanSuri (1968) have been selected to receive the JTM Gibson Award for Excellence - 2011 at the Prize Giving on 3rd December, 2011.

KC VERMA - After passing out from Mayo College in 1965 as the Head Boy, KC completed his higher education and joined the IPS. During his illustrious career, KC held many sensitive and responsible positions in the Intelligence Bureau and went on to Head the Anti Narcotics Bureau, Secretary (Security), Internal Security Advisor to the Home Minister and finally the Director General of R & AW. Post retirement KC continues to be a Member of the High Level Security Committee.

RAJAN SURI - Passed out from Mayo College in 1968. He completed his Bachelor's Degree from Cambridge University and MS and Ph.D from Harvard University. He founded the Centre for Quick Response Management and served as its Director from 1993 to 2007. Rajan combines his Academic credentials with substantial Industry experience.

He has been widely recognised and Awarded for excellence in his field of work. Rajan has received the following:
1. Honoured as one of only 10 persons to be inducted to the Industry Week 2010 Manufacturing Hall of Fame.
2. Awarded Albert M. Seargent Award from Society of Manufacturing Engineers in 2006.
3. Fellow of SME in 1999 and several other Awards.
4. He has received the Alpha Pi Mu Industrial Engineering Professor of the Year Award at the University of Wisconsin - Madison on two ocassions.
